Off the Pedestal: Private 1:1 Mentoring with Dr. Sam Casey

By purchasing in Off the Pedestal, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Program Overview

Off the Pedestal is a private mentoring experience facilitated by Dr. Sam Casey. It includes:

• 3 x 45-minute private mentoring sessions (delivered via Zoom or a mutually agreed platform)

• Tailored reflection prompts to support your self-inquiry and personal growth

• Integration tools from the Play Prescription® method, designed to be directly applicable to your lived experience

2. Educational Nature of the Program

Off the Pedestal is a personal growth and mentoring container designed for educational and informational purposes only. Participation in this program does not constitute therapy, clinical supervision, mental health care, or medical treatment.

While Dr. Sam Casey is a registered mental health professional, this offering does not establish a therapeutic relationship. No diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support will be provided.

If you are experiencing distress, mental health concerns, or require therapeutic care, it is essential that you seek support from a qualified therapist, psychologist, or healthcare provider in your area.

3. Participant Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that your participation in Off the Pedestal is voluntary, and you are solely responsible for your personal health, mental wellbeing, and decisions before, during, and after the mentoring sessions.

You agree to take full responsibility for your own safety, health, and wellbeing and to seek appropriate professional support where needed.

4. Confidentiality

Your privacy is respected. All sessions will be treated as confidential, within the limits of the law. Please note, however, that this is not a therapeutic relationship, and therefore confidentiality is not governed by the same rules as formal psychological treatment.

Dr. Sam may take confidential notes to support the delivery of your mentoring sessions. These will be stored securely and not shared without your written consent, unless required by law.

5. Session Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

• All sessions must be scheduled within 60 days of purchase.

• Rescheduling is permitted with at least 24 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations or missed sessions without 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited without refund.

• In the rare event Dr. Sam must cancel or reschedule, you will be offered an alternative time.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of this service and limited availability, all sales are final and no refunds will be provided once the purchase is complete. Please consider your capacity to participate fully before enrolling.

7. Intellectual Property

All program materials, including reflection prompts and integration tools, remain the intellectual property of Dr. Sam Casey and the Play Prescription® framework. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or repurposed for commercial or clinical use.

8. Disclaimer

You understand that results are not guaranteed. Your experience will depend on your own personal context, engagement, and commitment. Dr. Sam makes no claims or promises regarding specific outcomes.
