Dr Sam Casey, trading as Play Prescription®, is an Australian-based sole trader (ABN provided upon request) offering therapeutic services, professional certification training, clinical supervision, speaking engagements, and organisational consultancy. These Terms govern your use of our website at www.drsamcasey.com and all services we provide.

By accessing our website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the website in any way that violates applicable Australian or international laws or regulations
• Reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its related systems
• Use the website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the website at any time without notice.

Enrolment & Payment

Enrolment in the Play Prescription® Certification Program is confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an agreed payment plan. Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment plans are available; failure to maintain agreed payments may result in suspension of access to program materials.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the program commencement date are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% administration fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of commencement are non-refundable. If we cancel or postpone the program, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future intake.

Intellectual Property

All program materials, including videos, workbooks, frameworks, and resources, are the intellectual property of Dr Sam Casey / Play Prescription®. Participants may use materials for their own professional development but may not reproduce, share, sell, or distribute them without prior written consent.

Certification

Certification is awarded upon satisfactory completion of all program requirements. We reserve the right to withhold certification where requirements have not been met. Certification does not confer a registered professional qualification and does not replace existing professional registrations or licences.

Bookings & Payment

All consult and supervision sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. Sessions are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Payment is non-refundable once a session has been delivered.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with more than 48 hours' notice will be offered a full credit toward a future session. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will forfeit the session fee. We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full credit or refund will be offered.

Scope of Services

Consults and supervision sessions are professional development services. They do not constitute personal therapy, psychological treatment, or clinical intervention for the client. If you require personal therapeutic support, we encourage you to engage an appropriate registered health professional.

Confidentiality

Information shared during supervision sessions is treated as confidential, subject to mandatory reporting obligations and professional ethical standards. Client identifying information should be de-identified when brought to supervision.

Speaking engagements are subject to a separate written agreement confirming the event details, fees, travel requirements, and cancellation terms. A deposit is required to secure a booking. The deposit is non-refundable if the engagement is cancelled by the client within 30 days of the event date.

All presentation materials remain the intellectual property of Dr Sam Casey. The client may not record, reproduce, or distribute presentation content without prior written consent.

Consultancy services are provided under a separate written agreement or statement of work that specifies the scope, deliverables, fees, and timeline. Payment terms are as agreed in writing. Intellectual property created during a consultancy engagement remains the property of Dr Sam Casey unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, the Play Prescription® name and framework, and all associated materials — is the intellectual property of Dr Sam Casey and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, adapt, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

The Play Prescription® name and logo are trademarks of Dr Sam Casey. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
